widespread solar deployment has always been the upfront capital cost to customers. But today, many financing options
are emerging that allow customers to go solar.

New Resource Bank open house draws many community members
New Resource Bank hosted an open house on October 5, two weeks after receiving its final regulatory approval and
opening its doors. Nearly 200 community members came to see the bank and its new office, which has been built to
the standards of a Gold LEED CI certification. Hooks Design and GCI, the bank's architect and builder, respectively,
were on hand to help demonstrate the efficiency features and sustainable materials used in the Bank. Many visitors also
took note of the art on display in the bank, which was provided by the Bank's neighbor, the Academy of Art University and leading
green businesses like Michelle Kaufmann Designs.
